Celebrating Success

Celebrating Success

Last week was the first time I ran my Neurodiversity Awareness Workshop, although I have extensive experience on the subject and have been teaching the Mental Health First Aid qualification for many years, I did feel a little bit nervous. I felt the course went very well and I received some fantastic feedback:

“It was great to meet you on the neurodiversity training this morning, you did a wonderful job. Especially for a first-time delivery on this, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to deliver new material to strangers, especially when you have put so much time, love and energy into it”

“Thank you very much for an excellent ” Awareness” session. It was brilliant to meet up again, albeit online, hopefully I will attend one of your upcoming courses. Congratulations Christina.

So I am going to celebrate the success of my new course.

So what are the positive reasons we should all celebrate success:

Celebrating success is important for several reasons:

Motivation and morale: Celebrating success boosts morale and motivates individuals or teams to keep striving for excellence. It provides a sense of accomplishment and recognition for the hard work that has been put in.

Positive reinforcement: Celebrating success reinforces positive behaviors and outcomes. It helps in creating a culture of success where achievements are acknowledged and rewarded.

Team building: Celebrating success brings people together and fosters a sense of camaraderie. It promotes teamwork and collaboration by recognizing the collective effort that led to success.

Boosts confidence: Recognizing and celebrating success helps in boosting individuals’ confidence and self-esteem. It validates their skills and abilities, encouraging them to take on new challenges.

Encourages continuous improvement: Celebrating success is not just about patting oneself on the back but also about reflecting on what worked well and how to replicate that success in the future. It encourages a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Attracts and retains talent: Organizations that celebrate success tend to attract top talent and retain their employees. People are more likely to stay in an environment where their contributions are valued and celebrated.

Provides a sense of fulfillment: Celebrating success brings a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. It allows individuals to pause, reflect on their achievements, and feel proud of what they have accomplished.

In summary, celebrating success is crucial for maintaining motivation, boosting morale, fostering teamwork, and creating a culture of success and continuous improvement. It is an important part of recognizing and appreciating the hard work and dedication that goes into achieving goals.

So celebrate your successes and be proud.

I recently completed a three-day training course with Christina James at Sanitas Hub to become a Mental Health First Aid practitioner and Neurodiversity Champion, and I cannot recommend the experience highly enough. Christina delivered the training with exceptional professionalism while maintaining a warm, approachable, and supportive atmosphere throughout.

I attended the 2 day Mental Health First Aider training with Christina at Sanitas Hub. The delivery of the course was exceptional and she really brought the subject to life. Despite it being taught virtually for the 2 days, I was completely engaged and despite some tough subjects, I thoroughly enjoyed the course and would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to join this course.

I have just completed the MHFA course with Sanitas Hub, provided by Christina James and it was brilliant. She was an amazing instructor, gave lots of real life experiences and brought a positive energy to a difficult subject. Christina was understanding, and provided lots of extra information you cannot find online or in books. I would highly recommend her courses to others.

Christina James is an excellent instructor. After the MHFA course I feel more confident in helping others successfully and most importantly ensuring my own mental health is ok in the process. When it comes to any other related courses or refreshers I would definitely seek her as a tutor!

Highly recommend this course with Christina, she is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to mental health. A very informative & interactive two day training session. Care is taken when heavy subjects are undertaken to make sure everyone takes sufficient breaks & is doing ok. I thoroughly enjoyed it & feel like I have the skills required to go forward as an MHFA.

The course has been lovely, it was very useful to learn the material in the context of Christina's real world lived experience with some of the conditions mentioned on the course, and invaluable to find out best practice tips when approaching such cases. The format was brilliant and interaction in the group was very helpful.
